This beautiful, modern (1987) apartment is within easy walking distance of innumerable restaurants and pubs catering for all tastes, as well as clubs, cultural venues and guided city tours, in fact all the Newcastle-Gateshead major tourist attractions.

Major cultural and entertainment venues nearby in addition to The Sage and the Baltic include the Theatre Royal, the Live Theatre, the Biscuit Factory private art gallery and restaurant, the Tyneside Cinema Theatre (artistic, current and foreign movies), and the multiple movie theatres at The Gate.

For children there is the Centre for Life, Science Museum, Hancock natural history museum, Beamish Open Air Museum, a day at the seaside, or hiking & biking in Northumberland National park. For younger adults there is a plethora of pubs, clubs, musical events and leisure facilities.

And for shoppers there is the Metro Centre, the Eldon shopping centre (in the heart of Newcastle), the historic Grainger indoor market, numerous department stores and specialist shops in the centre of Newcastle, and farm shops in the outlying areas.

Those interested in the past can visit the Newcastle Keep and many other famous ancient castles like Bamburgh and Alnwick, the historic towns of Hexham, Corbridge and Durham, or the numerous Roman remains including Hadrian's Wall and the fort at Segedunum (Wallsend).

A 20 minute car journey takes you to the famous Northumberland Coast (or you can get there by the Tyneside Metro system), or the Angel of the North.

The last but not least of the attractions is the legendary friendliness of the North Eastern people. One guest remarked, "Everyone we spoke to was very, very friendly and helpful." So, come and experience this jovial, friendly, warm place and stay in the heart of Newcastle's Quayside.
