Down at the Farm

Down at the Farm is a real farm experience for the whole family to enjoy. Interact with a wide range of animals from traditional breeds of cows and sheep to more diverse such as alpacas and wallabies. Set in beautiful rural surroundings with views over Penshaw and beyond. Down at the Farm is the perfect day out in the countryside, just a stones throw from the cities of Sunderland and Durham. Excellent facilites, cafe and refreshments, baby changing, disabled access and free parking. Coaches welcome.

Open every weekend, bank holiday and school holiday (7days a week in holidays).

We are just off the A690 which runs between Sunderland and Durham. Stoneygate Lane is just off the A690 on the Houghton Le Spring side of the carriageway.
