The Vermont is Newcastle's only 4-star independent hotel, located next to the Castle, overlooking the Cathedral and the Tyne and Millennium Bridges. Take A1 western bypass, take the signs for the city centre, travelling over Tyne Bridge, High Level Bridge or Redheugh Bridge. Head towards St Nicholas Street, cathedral and castle keep. Turn into Castle Garth.
From Newcastle Central Station turn right onto Neville Street and head towards the castle. Walk under Railway viaduct, over traffic lights, past castle and hotel is on the left.
