Puffing Billy Cottage is situated in Tyne Riverside Countryside Park just 5 miles upriver from Newcastle's vibrant centre. The south facing Victorian cottage has recently been refurbished and is tastefully decorated throughout. Much Care has been taken to retain its character whilst offering the luxurious facilities expected for contemporary living. It is situated on Hadrian's Way and the Sustrans national Cycle Way no. 72 so is ideal for walking/hiking/running/riding and cycling.

There are many attractions within close proximity including an award winning pub and micro brewery; a local Leisure and Activity Centre and George Stephenson's cottage. Meanwhile Newcastle/Gateshead is just a 15 minute drive away and the extensive shopping facilities of the Metro Centre even closer. In addition Puffing Billy provides an excellent base for those seeking easy access to Northumberland, Durham, Yorkshire, the Lake District National Park and the Scottish Borders. Sorry no pets.
