The Site for all Your Short Breaks and Holiday Information
East Byermoor is a 17th Century stone farmhouse with considerable charm and character. Standing in 1.5 acres of landscaped gardens and meadow amidst the beautiful local scenery. Once part of the Gibside Estate, East Byermoor has now been converted into a guesthouse which retains its original character whilst providing all the comforts required by the disconcerting traveller, be it for a relaxing holiday, weekend break or business stop-over. Take advantage of our Holistic Therapy Room and choose from a range of therapies including Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Pamper Days & Weekends catered for. Ideally placed for visiting local tourist attractions, Hadrian's Wall, Durham Cathedral, Beamish Museum and the Northumberland Coast are all just a short drive away. The Guesthouse is set in a superb rural location overlooking Whickham Golf Course and the Gibside Estate, once home to the Bowes-Lyon family. All this, yet only minutes away from the famous MetroCentre, Newcastle's city nightlife, sport stadiums, cultural music venues and the region's centres of commerce.
