The Site for all Your Short Breaks and Holiday Information
Burradon Farm is conveniently located only a few miles from the marvellous Northumbrian coastline, and within easy access of the cultural heritage and dynamic centre which is Newcastle upon Tyne.
Burradon Farm is a working farm of some 400 acres at the heart of which lies the 14th century Pele Tower, the Farm House, the old Farm Cottages and a fine range of traditional stone farm buildings. Part of the original farm buildings have been converted to create six cottages and three houses.. The new barn conversions have retained the original stone work and features and become spacious, stylish and comfortable properties.
The cottages are in a courtyard formation and each benefits from the close proximity of the purpose built carport and well tended grassed areas. The setting is quiet and tranquil, and there are fine views northwards over fields, and eastwards towards the sea.
Each self-contained house or cottage is centrally heated and double glazed with a security system, and has modern wood laminate floors throughout and boasts a fully equipped kitchen with extensive fitted units, with a full range of electrical appliances. The sitting room in each has TV, DVD and stereo, with the bedrooms light and bright with ample drawer and wardrobe space.
The local amenities are only a 10 minute walk away in Burradon village, and a bus service offers regular services to the Metro Centre and the wide range of attractions in Newcastle. The cottages are an ideal base to explore the tourist attractions of the Northumbrian countryside and coastline.
