Road Directions

From Scotch Corner continue to the Washington Services, approx 37 miles. Three hundred metres past the sevices the road splits into two. Follow the left hand lane signposted A1 Gateshead/Newcastle. After the bend move into the left lane (Gateshead South). This lane turns into a slip road heading to a large roundabout. Take the third exit road, A167 Gateshead South. This road runs through Low Fell. At Springfield Hotel, turn left, then next traffic lights, turn left.
