The Marine offers a nice warm atmosphere, quality food and fine beer. It is situated in a great location, next to North and South Marine Park, seafront and town centre of South Shields.

Road Directions
Follow the A194 into South Shields and as you approach the town centre you will come to a roundabout with a Wickes DIY superstore opposite. Turn right at this roundabout and pass Springs Leisure Club. At the traffic lights in front of the Town Hall turn left and take the immediate right hand lane around the side of the Town Hall. At the roundabout turn left and continue straight on over the mini-roundabout. At the next roundabout, next to Asda, turn right on to Ocean Road. The Marine is at the end of this road on the right hand side, just before the park.
Public Transport Directions
Exit South Shields Metro Station/Keppel St Bus Station on to King Street, the pedestrianised main shopping street of South Shields. Turn right and follow the street, passing South Shields Museum and Asda. At the roundabout continue straight ahead and follow Ocean Road, passing a number of restaurants and guest houses. The Marine is at the end of this street on your right hand side.
